Red, White, Yellow & Black PCB-mounting RCA sockets
Four different coloured PCB-mounting switched RCA sockets.
Traditionally, the stereo input sockets for an audio device are white (left) & red (right). But sourcing white sockets is hard, so we're offering this set.
These sockets can be used with projects such as the CLASSiC DAC. While they aren't an exact fit for the footprint on that PCB, they will fit with a small amount of coaxing.
Use the white and red for the left & right audio inputs and the other two for whatever you like.

|
Dual gang 50kΩ 16mm logarithmic taper potentiometer with spline tooth shaft
This potentiometer can be used in the Stereo Valve Preamplifier. This value is hard to get in this style of pot but it suits driving devices with a relatively high load impedance.
Note that because it has a spline shaft, not all types of knob will necessarily fit. The types with a grub screw generally work OK, or those designed for spline shafts. Also the shaft is quite short, which means you won't have to cut it down but it will not protrude a long way through a thick panel either.

RF Coil Former with Adjustable Ferrite Core
A coil former with ferrite slug. Can be used for the Planet Jupiter Receiver (three formers required).
This is similar to SBK-71K but without the shield can. The Jaycar LF1227 set originally specified is no longer available. There are a few differences so some slight modifications need to be made in order to fit the new coil former on the PCB:
1) This former has five pins rather than two. The extra pins can be cut off or, where they will fit into an existing PCB mounting hole, used as tap connection points.
2) This former is slightly smaller so you will need to use 0.25mm diameter ECW rather than the 0.3mm diameter specified in the SiDRADIO parts list. The number of turns remains the same.
3) You may need to bend the pins slightly to fit them into the PCB mounting pads.
