MAX7219 controller (SMD) with pluggable 8x8 red LED matrix display An 8x8 red LED dot matrix, driven by an SMD MAX7219 on a separate, pluggable board. The boards can be daisy chained to make larger displays and are controlled via a serial bus. Pin headers are supplied separately and can be soldered onto the sides of the display, or you can solder one display directly to another using short wire links.
